1. Identification

These Terms of Service govern the use of products and services offered by:

2. Definitions

  • "Service": the WordPress plugins, Shopify apps, e-shoopy.com website and related services.
  • "User": any natural or legal person who uses the Service.
  • "Plugin": the WordPress software distributed by eShoopy, in free or Pro version.
  • "Pro License": the paid license that enables premium features of the Plugin.
  • "Shopify App": an eShoopy application installed and billed through Shopify, including Home Scheduler and SecureCOD.

3. Software License

eShoopy plugins are distributed under the GPL v2 license or later. The free version is available on WordPress.org. The Pro License is an additional commercial license that enables premium features.

The Pro License is:

  • Personal and non-transferable
  • Valid for the number of sites specified in the purchased plan
  • Renewable annually
  • Revocable in case of violation of these Terms

4. Shopify Apps

Shopify Apps provide the functions shown in their App Store listing and in-app plan page. Availability can depend on the merchant's Shopify plan, country, checkout capabilities and configured third-party providers. SecureCOD provides COD rules, fees, OTP and operational tools on supported plans; native checkout fee consent and checkout OTP require Shopify Plus. It does not process card data or replace Shopify Checkout.

5. Trial Period

Eligible WordPress Pro products offer the trial displayed at checkout. SecureCOD paid plans receive the unused portion of the single 14-day trial started at app installation. The applicable checkout or Shopify approval screen is controlling.

6. Payments and Refunds

WordPress product payments are processed by Freemius Inc. Shopify App recurring and usage charges are approved and collected exclusively through Shopify Billing. We do not receive payment-card data.

  • Prices are in US Dollars (USD) and do not include VAT where applicable.
  • Licenses auto-renew annually unless cancelled.
  • We offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked.
  • Cancellation can be done at any time from the Freemius dashboard.
  • Shopify App prices, allowances and any capped usage charges are displayed in the App Store and Shopify approval screen; Shopify billing rules govern effective dates, credits and refunds.

7. User responsibilities and acceptable use

Users must configure accurate settings, protect account credentials, provide required buyer notices and consent, and comply with Shopify terms and applicable consumer, tax, communications and privacy law. The Service must not be used for spam, unlawful processing, fraud, malicious uploads, security probing or attempts to bypass rate limits and access controls.

8. Technical Support

Technical support is available for all users:

  • Free version: support through the WordPress.org forum.
  • Pro version: priority email support with a typical response time of 24-48 business hours.

9. Privacy and third parties

Our general privacy policy and Shopify App privacy policy describe data processing. Shopify and optional communications/integration providers are independent services under their own terms; their availability and delivery decisions can affect functionality.

10. Limitation of Liability

The software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. eShoopy S.r.l.s. is not liable for:

  • Direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the software
  • Data loss or business interruption
  • Incompatibility with third-party plugins, themes or configurations

To the maximum extent permitted by law, eShoopy's aggregate contractual liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected Service in the preceding 12 months. This does not exclude liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Intellectual Property

The eShoopy trademark, logo, website design, Shopify Apps and documentation are owned by ESHOOPY S.r.l.s. or its licensors. WordPress Plugin source code remains distributed under its stated GPL license.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or through the website. Continued use of the Service after publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Naples, Italy, without prejudice to consumer protection rights under applicable law.
